Introducing “Cut-Up Kisses”—song-by-song remixes of the entire album, “Crooked Kisses.” To create “Cut-Up Kisses,” Jupe Jupe sought the talents and imagination of a variety of renowned artists/producers. The album is a collection of soundscapes and styles—IDM, electropop, hip hop, and disco—forming a unique new vision for each song, while building upon the band’s influences of British new wave, ‘60s European spy films, and ghost-town Americana.

Head Like A Kite
Breaking down beats seems as natural to Head Like A Kite’s Dave Einmo as breaking down genre barriers. In the Seattle musician’s third release and debut with Roll Call Records, Einmo creates “A true genre-twisted party album that appropriately captures the sounds of an eclectic America” – URB. “Dreams Suspend Night” features multiple musicians and vocalists including Asya of Smoosh/Daydream Vacation, Tilson of the Saturday Nights, Boom Bip of Neon, Her Space Holiday, and members of The Long Winters and Swervedriver. When Cheeba was 18 years old, he was pulled into the inner circle of the legendary Dust Brothers, who redefined the art of sampling with people like Beck and Beastie Boys. After three years with them, doing everything from cleaning bongs to editing tracks for the Fight Club score, Cheeba parted ways to focus on his own productions. The first Cheebacabra album, “Metamorphosis,” was released in 2003. Two more albums followed (2006's “Exile In The Woods” and 2012's “Pass the Information”) with a remix album due in early 2015.

OCnotes, AKA Otis Calvin III, is a Seattle-based producer, singer, MC, and multi-instrumentalist. He has been described in local press as a cross between Madlib and Mos Def (you'd probably want to add equal parts Daedelus, Dungeon Family, and Cody ChesnuTT to get closer to the fact). His solo work and collaborations with such Seattle vibe-setters as Thee Satisfaction and The Black Constellation have made him a darling of the Emerald City's most forward-listening.
