Introducing “Cut-Up Kisses”—song-by-song remixes of the entire album, “Crooked Kisses.” To create “Cut-Up Kisses,” Jupe Jupe sought the talents and imagination of a variety of renowned artists/producers. The album is a collection of soundscapes and styles—IDM, electropop, hip hop, and disco—forming a unique new vision for each song, while building upon the band’s influences of British new wave, ‘60s European spy films, and ghost-town Americana.

Jeff McIlwain has been producing his visceral, melodic strain of abstract electronic music as Lusine for over 10 years with Ghostly International. McIlwain has contributed tracks to various compilations and remix releases on Mute, !K7, Kompakt, Asthmatic Kitty, and Shitkatapult. In 2009, he released the album, "A Certain Distance", which featured the single, “Two Dots.” His newest, critically acclaimed album, "The Waiting Room", was released in 2013. He recently scored the film “Joe” (Nicholas Cage), wrapped up tours in Europe and Japan, and is prepping a new EP.
Northwest musician, DJ, and producer Bob Hansen began his career at age 17 producing original music and remixes with Dave Pezzner under the name Jacob London. Performing worldwide, Jacob London created a style most referred to as “quirky house,” “funky house,” or “jackin’ quirk balls.” Currently, Hansen is producing music by himself as Hanssen, in the ambient, indie-dance, bass music, future garage, and synth genres. He has remixed for various labels on musical compositions including Si Begg, Ian Pooley, Lusine, Pezzner, and Colette.
Head Like A Kite
Breaking down beats seems as natural to Head Like A Kite’s Dave Einmo as breaking down genre barriers. In the Seattle musician’s third release and debut with Roll Call Records, Einmo creates “A true genre-twisted party album that appropriately captures the sounds of an eclectic America” – URB. “Dreams Suspend Night” features multiple musicians and vocalists including Asya of Smoosh/Daydream Vacation, Tilson of the Saturday Nights, Boom Bip of Neon, Her Space Holiday, and members of The Long Winters and Swervedriver. Head Like A Kite has received praise from the Los Angeles Times to the London Times, while touring from Seattle to Guam to Japan.
Erik Blood is a Seattle-based producer, multi-instrumentalist, and singer/songwriter. His production work and collaborations with some of the Northwest’s favorite artists (TheeSatisfaction, Shabazz Palaces, Moondoggies, The Lights, The Turn-Ons) have garnered praise from music journalists and fans alike. Erik Blood has released the critically acclaimed solo albums “The Way We Live” and “Touch Screens,” as well as the full-length film soundtrack, "Music From the Center of Gravity."
Rick G. Nelson
Multi-instrumentalist Rick G. Nelson is a professional musician, engineer, and producer residing in New Orleans. In addition to engineering and producing, Rick frequently composes, performs and record string arrangements in collaboration with clients and other musicians. In 2002, he was hired as the violinist for the symphonic rock band The Polyphonic Spree. Rick has also toured both nationally and internationally with several other bands including The Twilight Singers and The Afghan Whigs.
New Jersey-based DJ and producer Mike Simonetti is the founder of Troubleman Unlimited records and co-founder of Italians Do It Better with Johnny Jewel. Simonetti’s labels have released material by Glass Candy, Chromatics, The Walkmen, Unwound, Erase Errata, Black Dice, Death Comet Crew, Wolf Eyes, Pixeltan, Growing, and many more.
When Cheeba was 18 years old, he was pulled into the inner circle of the legendary Dust Brothers, who redefined the art of sampling with people like Beck and Beastie Boys. After three years with them, doing everything from cleaning bongs to editing tracks for the Fight Club score, Cheeba parted ways to focus on his own productions. The first Cheebacabra album, “Metamorphosis,” was released in 2003. Two more albums followed (2006's “Exile In The Woods” and 2012's “Pass the Information”) with a remix album due in early 2015.
“Punk as fuck” noise band Waco Girls hail from Austin, Texas. According to the band’s website,
“Waco Girls bring the power violence, the noise, the funk. Waco Girls engaged in congress with Erik Satie and Don Dokken. Waco Girls performed atop the smoking ruins of Rome. All is flat for Waco Girls. Any material will be used. Waco Girls have brought the law on more than one occasion.
Waco Girls are Angel Reyezzz, Nikki Henley and Alexxxis Konner.”
OCnotes, AKA Otis Calvin III, is a Seattle-based producer, singer, MC, and multi-instrumentalist. He has been described in local press as a cross between Madlib and Mos Def (you'd probably want to add equal parts Daedelus, Dungeon Family, and Cody ChesnuTT to get closer to the fact). His solo work and collaborations with such Seattle vibe-setters as Thee Satisfaction and The Black Constellation have made him a darling of the Emerald City's most forward-listening.
